History

History

From the founding of the Department of Physiology in 1950 to the present, our division has carried forward a tradition of physiological research and education focused on neural function.

Since 1950

A continuing tradition in physiology

Our division traces its roots through the Second Department of Physiology and the Department of Neuroscience to the current Division of Neuroscience, Department of Physiology.
