紹介

神田講師は2009年に北海道大学医学部医学科を卒業し道内の関連病院で初期臨床研修を修了した。その後、北海道大学遺伝子病制御研究所の免疫生物分野でInvariant natural killer T細胞におけるインターフェロンγ産生の分子機序を研究し、その功績によって博士号を取得した。2018年にはドイツ、ベルリンにあるMax Delbrück Centerに留学し、バイオインフォマティクスの研究手法について学ぶとともに、ヒト心臓の大規模なシングルセル解析プロジェクトに参加し、その成果は世界三大学術誌であるNature, Cell, Scienceにそれぞれ掲載された。2020年に帰国し現職の札幌医科大学医学部免疫・リウマチ内科学教室の講師に就任した。帰国後は新規発見のマイクロプロテインであるMKMP78の機能解析を開始し、臨床面では札幌医科大学附属病院のIgG4関連疾患専門外来を担当しながら、その診断と新規治療戦略に関する研究を展開している。また北海道内の地域医療の発展のためリウマチ性疾患やその他希少疾患の診療ネットワークの構築にも尽力している。さらにはバイオインフォマティシャンとして学内外また国内外多くの共同研究に参画するとともに、教育講演活動やテレビ出演など多方面に活躍している。
