SUMMARY
$B!!(JRecentry, inverter X-ray generators have been widely used because of the constant year improvement in the performance and stability of the high tension apparatus.
$B!!(JWe analyzed the characteristics(tube voltage rise and fall times, current waveforms, short time, and reproducibility of X-ray output) of our resonant-type inverter X-ray generator capable of a maximum output of 50kW.
$B!!(JWe obtained the following results.
The ride and fall times of X-ray tube voltage were extremely short. Its fall time, however, took sligtly longer when we set conditions by adding a light load and making the high-voltage cables longer.
The short time chracteristics and reproducibility were remarkably superior to that of Japanese Industrial standards.
The linearity of the X-ray output was good under the load conditions in general use.
