沿 革
History
札幌医科大学は、北海道総合開発の一
環として、昭和25年に旧道立女子医学専門
学校を基礎に設置され、その後、平成5年4月
には、札幌医科大学衛生短期大学部（昭和
58年4月開学）の発展的な改組に伴い、保
健医療学部を増設しました。
また、平成19年4月には独立行政法人化
し、
「北海道公立大学法人札幌医科大学」
と
なりました。
As part of Hokkaido Prefecture’s compre-
hensive development, Hokkaido Women’s
Medical College was expanded in 1950 to
become Sapporo Medical University. In April
1993, the School of Health Sciences was
established with the reorganization of the
Health Sciences Junior College (which
opened in April 1983) attached to Sapporo
Medical College.
In April 2007, the university made the
transition to become an independent
corporate entity known as Hokkaido Public
University Corporation Sapporo Medical
University.

昭和20年（1945）4月 北海道立女子医学専門学校創立

昭和25年（1950）4月 札幌医科大学開学

Sapporo Medical College opened.

開学式を挙行（6月25日を大学記念日とする）

昭和30年（1955）9月 附属研究機関としてがん研究所設置
September
Cancer Research Institute established as an affiliate research
institution.
昭和31年（1956）3月 大学院医学研究科の設置認可（学生入学定員25人）

Establishment of the Graduate School of Medicine approved
(enrollment capacity is 25 students).
昭和33年（1958）1月 医学進学課程の設置
January
Premedical course started.
昭和43年（1968）9月 附属臨海医学研究所設置
September
Marine Biomedical Institute established.
昭和54年（1979）4月 進学課程及び専門課程の区分を廃止
April
Divided courses (premedical and special courses) abolished.
昭和58年（1983）4月 札幌医科大学衛生短期大学部開学
April
Junior College of Health Sciences affiliated with Sapporo Medical
College
opened.
