SPECIALIZED STUDY DEPARTMENTS

Established in August 2010, this course is intended to help health care professionals involved in community health care update
their medical knowledge, study methods of retraining such professionals, and put the examined methods into practice. To this
end, various efforts are being made. These include: (1) a study on methods for teaching physicians to be involved in community
medical care services so that they can obtain advanced medical skills and make and implement correct diagnoses and
treatments; (2) the training of specialized nurses and certified nurses and the establishment of a system to educate nurses
working at community hospitals in order to enhance and improve nursing care; (3) the training of specialized advisers to improve
rehabilitation services in communities and the establishment of a system to educate and instruct physical therapists and
occupational therapists working at community hospitals.

Established in September 2010, the course is intended to deal with the
present severe shortage of obstetricians and gynecologists. In order to
conduct surveys and research on the training of physicians for local perinatal
care and the establishment of a safe delivery system, various efforts are being made. These include: (1) surveys/research on
and the implementation of the training of obstetricians to be involved in perinatal care; (2) a study on and the clinical application
of methods for safe deliveries by obstetricians in communities; (3) surveys/research on and the implementation of the training of
midwives and other medical professionals; (4) surveys/research on and the implementation of cooperation between
obstetricians and anesthesiologists

　平成22年8月発足。地域医療を担う医療従事者に対する医学知識の刷新及

び再研修方法の研究及びその実践を行うこととし、

（1）地域医療に従事する医

師が精度の高い診療技術と適切な診療を行う判断力を養うための教授方法の
研究・実施、

（2）看護ケアの充実・向上を目的とする、専門看護師・認定看護師

の養成、地域病院の看護師等への教育指導体制の構築、

（3）地域のリハビリ

テーション水準の向上を目的とする、専門の指導士の養成、地域病院の理学・

作業療法士等への教育指導体制の構築、などの取り組みを実施しています。

Established in September 2010, the course is intended to secure community medical services. In order to conduct surveys and
research concerning the training of physicians to be involved in community medical services, various efforts are being made.
These include: (1) exploratory research on medical needs taking regional characteristics into consideration; (2) a study on
methods for helping physicians involved in community medical services update their medical knowledge and retrain; (3) the
establishment of a medical care provision system through an examination of methods for dividing functions of community
medical institutions and facilitating cooperation among them; (4) a study on methods for educating and instructing medical staff
to improve the quality and implementation of medical services; (5) the establishment and clinical application of telediagnosis and
telemedicine techniques based on a study on methods for promptly sharing medical information between local base hospitals
and this course; (6) a study and implementation of education and enlightenment to raise health awareness among local
residents.

　平成22年9月発足。地域医療の確保を目的に、地域医療を担う医師の養成
に関する調査・研究を行うため、

（1）地域特性を踏まえた医療ニーズの探索研

究、

（2）地域医療を担う医師に対する医学知識の刷新及び再研修方法の研

究、

（3）地域医療機関の機能分化と連携方法の検討による医療供給体制の

構築の確立、

（4）地域の医療水準向上のためのコメディカルスタッフに対する教

育・指導法の研究及び実践、

（5）地域基幹病院と講座の医療情報の迅速な共

有化手法の研究による遠隔診断・治療法の確立及び臨床、

（6）地域住民の健

康意識向上のための啓発・教育に関する研究及び実践、などの取り組みを実施

しています。

Open Lecture

Established in April 2013, Cancer Palliative Care Course conducts research
as one of the bases for the Promotion Plan for the Platform of Human
Resource Development for Cancer, a project of the Ministry of Education,

Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It focuses on (1) clinical and basic research to understand the mechanism of cancer
pain, (2) clinical and basic research to control cancer pain, (3) research to reduce symptoms of cancer and side effects from
cancer treatment, (4) research to relieve pain from cancer and treatment for the symptoms, and (5) research on the
development of doctors specialized in cancer pain relief and their appropriate allocation in community healthcare.

　平成22年9月発足。深刻な産婦人科医不足の問題の解決に向けて、地域の
周産期医療を担う医師の養成、安全な分娩体制の構築等について調査・研究

を行うため、

（1）周産期医療を担う産科医師の養成に関する調査・研究及び実

践、

（2）地域において産科医師が安全に分娩業務を行うための方法の研究及

び臨床、

（3）助産師をはじめとするコメディカルの養成に関する調査・研究及び

実践、

（4）産科医、麻酔科医連携に関する調査・研究及び実践、などの取り組

みを実施しています。

■南檜山周産期環境研究講座　

設置期間：平成22年9月～平成28年3月

平成25年４月発足。がん疼痛緩和医療学講座は、本学が文部科学省「がんプ

ロフェッショナル養成基盤推進プラン」に選定されたことに伴い、(1)がん疼痛の

機序解明に関する臨床及び基礎研究、(2)がん疼痛の制御に関する臨床及び
基礎研究、(3)がん及びその治療に伴う諸症状の緩和に関する研究、(4)がん及

び症状治療に伴う苦痛の軽減に関する研究、(5)緩和医療医の育成と適切な

地域医療への配置に関する研究、などの取り組みを実施しています。
