Ladies and gentleman:

The 9th Japan-China International Conference of Virology will be held in Sapporo, Japan between June 12-13, 2012. It is an excellent platform for Japanese and Chinese virologists and worldwide virologiests to communicate with each other on topics on virology, virus infection, immunology, public health, and others. To help you better schedule your time, information will be announced as bellows.

(The 53th Annual Meeting of Japanese Society of Clinical Virology will be held in Osaka on June 16-17, 2012, just after the Japan-China International Conference of Virology. It may be a good idea to attend both meetings(In the meeting, all the presentation will be in Japanese only)).

7. Call for abstracts

Abstracts: One page for one abstract including the title and author information. Abstract should explicitly mention the objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and significance of the work. Please submit the abstracts by February 29, 2012 through E-mail (takashinom2126@med.hokudai.ac.jp)

Abstracts are now being invited as oral sessions or poster sessions. Please mark on abstract form which type of presentation you would like to. Organizing committee will select the abstract for oral/poster session and will be informed to you by E-mail on the March 30 at the latest.

The official language in the conference is English. No translation service will be provided.

10.Guidelines for Speakers

1)Presentation time will be 9 min and 3 min discussion(total 12 min).
(You are requested to keep the time of your presentation 12 minutes including Q&A.)

2)Speakers are required to upload their presentation at the PC Preview Desk at least 1 hour before the start of the presentation.

3)Only presentations using a Windows or Mac PC are acceptable. OHP or slides are not acceptable.

4)Please bring your presentation data(USB flash memory) to the PC Preview Desk.
Please make sure to check the files with anti-virus software before your submission to the Desk.
Even if you intend to use your own PC, please come to the PC Preview Desk to check that your presentation functions correctly.

5)Presentation format
Please ensure that your presentation will function on the specifications given below.
i)OS: Windows XP and Vista or Mac(MacOS10.4 or later)
